Slutty Brownies

These are without doubt the most incredible brownies I have ever eaten! I do not know who came up with them, but they are pure heaven! They get their name because they are very easy to make and they're very naughty. They are possibly the most calorific thing you could make - and look like they could give you a heart attack with one bite...but they are absolutely worth it!! The bottom layer is soft cookie dough, the middle is crunchy Oreo's and the oozy brownie mixture tops the whole thing off. I used Nigella Lawson's Brownie recipe alongside my own cookie recipe. These are definitely worth a try!

 You will need:

Brownies:
375g unsalted butter
375g dark chocolate
1 tbsp vanilla extract
500g caster sugar
6 large eggs
335g plain flour
1 tsp salt

Cookies:
100g caster sugar
125g soft brown sugar
125g unsalted butter, softened
1 large egg
1 tsp vanilla extract
225g plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
100g white choc chips
100g milk choc chips
pinch of salt

2 x 185 packs of Oreos

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees/ gas 4. Melt the chocolate and butter in a bain-marie. Once melted, remove from the heat and leave to cool slightly. In the meantime, beat together the eggs, sugar and vanilla in a large mixing bowl.

Once the melted chocolate and butter has cooled slightly, add to the egg mixture. Add the flour and salt and mix until properly combined then put to one side.

Then start on the cookie mixture. Get another mixing bowl and cream together the butter and sugars.

Add the egg and vanilla and stir until well combined.

Add the flour and salt and then the chips. Ensure the flour is properly combined.

Line a large roasting tin with greaseproof paper and then make a layer of cookie dough on-top.

Follow with a layer or Oreos.

Finally, pour the brownie mixture over and level with a spatula.

Bake for 30-35 minutes. Keep checking the brownies with a knife, you want the top to be crispy, but the middle still gooey. Leave for a few minutes to cool then turn out of the tin and cut into slices. Enjoy!
