Healthy Apple Pie Bars

These guys are the perfect energy fix for when you are on the run and busy as they are stuffed full of healthy and nutritious ingredients that leave you feeling satisfied. These bars are incredibly quick and easy to make and have the added bonus of tasting like real Apple Pie...so you won't resent them not being the real deal! 



 Makes 20 - 30 bars

You will need:
200g walnuts, toasted
10 medjool dates, pitted
100g oats
2 apples, grated
1 tsp ground cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
1 tsp ground nutmeg


Blitz the all of the ingredients together in a food processor until it comes together to form a paste. Line a small baking tray and spoon the mixture in. Smooth over with a spatula and leave to set for a few hours in the fridge. Cut into slices and store in the fridge until ready to eat. These will last for 3-5 days. Enjoy!
