Cooking for friends and family is one of my favourite things. It is my passion, my therapy and the root of all my creativity.

I created Flora’s Kitchen Stories in 2011 as a New Year’s Resolution. It was initially intended as a test of my diligence, but soon developed into a professional website. I discovered the joy to be found in creating colourful, stimulating and delicious dishes.

I recently completed a 3-month cookery course at Ballymaloe Cookery School in Cork, Ireland. This was one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. It totally took me back to basics, rebuilt my knowledge and confidence in food, but most of all reinforced the importance of quality ingredients.
